CROAKER FESTIVAL - BOOTH RENTALS

• food • crafts, etc. •

We’re working hard to make this year’s annual Croaker Festival the best ever. Our all-American, small-town, Independence Day celebration will be Friday evening and all day Saturday, July 4 and 5 (always the first Saturday in July). The festival normally draws between 8,000 – 10,000 visitors.

Our Mission:
The mission of the Croaker Festival is to help support non-profit organizations in the county. Pamlico County agencies, schools, non-profit groups, and small businesses are encouraged to reserve booth space for this annual Pamlico County celebration. Croaker Festival is the ideal venue to reach the residents of our unique area and the many visitors who come for this event.

Crafts and Information Booths:
We try to provide a wide array of items for festival visitors to purchase and browse. Vendors who produce or handle fine, hand-made items are invited to apply for admission to our craft show. Please pass the word to any local craft people who you know, as we like to highlight local crafts wherever possible.

Food Booths:
Croaker Festival is the largest fund-raising event in Pamlico County, because of the income raised from food vending. We invite both professional food vendors and non-profit food vendors to ensure an ample supply of delectables. Note that the fees are set at different levels for professional versus non-profit organizations. A portion of the professional vendor fees are donated to non-profit organizations selected by the Croaker Festival Organization. To ensure a wonderful experience, we hope to offer a broad variety of foods of excellent quality so that everyone who is in Pamlico County during Croaker Festival wouldn’t think of eating any place else! We need all types of beverages, traditional and fun festival foods, plus ethnic foods, sweets, morning coffee and tea, vegetarian foods, and North Carolina “signature” foods, such as Barbeque, Fried Chicken, and Ribs.

Listing in the Croaker Festival Program:
We publish 6,000 Croaker Festival programs, which are distributed as inserts in the Pamlico News and also displayed at businesses and public sites in surrounding towns prior to the event and at the Croaker Festival itself. All vendors accepted for the festival prior to May 6th will be listed in our program for no additional charge. In addition, if you would like to place an ad in our program, indicate this on your application form and we will contact you.

Applications:
We encourage early applications, as booths normally sell out by mid-May. We would like to have all applications in hand no later than May 16, 2008, so that vendors have adequate time to plan. We will accept applications up to June 12, however, we may not be able to accommodate these vendors. We will begin notifying vendors of acceptance in early May.

Please complete your application and submit via U.S. mail, as per application instructions. We will notify you by mail or email upon acceptance of your application. We look forward to hearing from you. Click Here for the Craft/Information Booth Application. Click Here for the Food Booth Application.
