The Croaker Festival and the Coastal Photo Club present the 2008 Photography Contest.

• Nature

• Pamlico County Building(s)

• Pet(s)

• Boat(s)

• Insect(s)

Divisions:

• Adult

• Youth 13-17

• Youth 6-12

Prizes:

• Ribbons for First, Second and Third place in each category and division.

• First Place in each category will receive a framed print of their winning photo.

• For the Best in Show, in addition to a Ribbon, The Coastal Photo Club will provide framing for your photo and ASAP Camera Store in Greenville will award a $35 gift certificate.

Entries:

• Color or black and white, maximum 8 1/2" x 11".

• Only five entries per entrant.

The Croaker Festival reserves the right to use your photographs for publicity without compensation. The entries will be returned and you can pick them up at the Croaker Festival Booth or at the office of Mona Kay Sadler, CPA in Grantsboro.

Fee: There is no entry fee this year.

Deadline: Friday, June 27, 2008

Submit: Photos in an envelope with your name, address and phone number and/or email address. Additionally, write your name, age, and phone number on the back of your photo.

Mail to: Photo Contest, Croaker Festival, P.O. Box 1067, Oriental, NC 28571 or you can drop your photos off at the office of Mona Kay Sadler, CPA in Grantsboro.

Winners will be announced Friday, July 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Winning photos will be featured on the Croaker Festival and Coastal Photo Club's websites.

Photographs entered into the Croakerfest Photography Contest will be available for pickup at the Croaker Booth. Croakerfest does not guarantee the return of photos.

Cakes - Cheesecakes - Pies - Sweet Breads- Yeast Breads
(Recipes are encouraged for a future booklet, but are not mandatory)

• Deliver entries to the judging table Friday, July 4, between 4:00 - 4:45 pm.

• Entries must be on disposable or non-returnable dishes. They will not be returned.

• Entries are donations and will be sold after the judging. Proceeds go to the Croaker Festival.

CATEGORIES: Pies, Cakes, Cheesecakes, Yeast Bread and Sweet (quick) Breads.

KIDS: Baked cookies will have a separate judging for those 12 years of age and under.

JUDGING TABLE is located behind the Croaker Festival Booth at the corner of South Avenue and Freemason Street.

JUDGING begins at 5:00 pm.

WINNERS will be announced and trophies presented from the Festival Stage at 7:00 pm.
